We have a genuine desire to help companies within the manufacturing and distribution sectors to make small incremental changes in their despatch and logistics departments with a range of products that help reduce their environmental impact. Take pallet wrap for example, we have a system which drastically reduces the need to use single-use plastic wrap wherever there is a return loop logistics system in place, and this can have a massive impact on time, waste, energy and cost especially where goods are moved internally or between locations. Sustainability isn’t just about using less plastic, its also about giving everyone a chance to work more efficiently and effectively, which in turn saves time, improves morale, increases staff retention and in the long run improves your brand image. Anti-fatigue matting is a great example of a product which brings these improvements to companies who care about their employees. End of life is really the crux of the whole sustainability issue; hence we’re continually introducing more products that are produced from recycled material or can be recycled at the end of their useful life. Take for example our PalBand products for metal cage trolleys, these are produced from PET which is widely recyclable, and the attachments are upcycled and used in other industries and applications. Our mainstream matting products are made from recycled products such as rPET and used fishing nets, as well as reconstituted rubber and PVC.
