Each year, generous donors from across our community invest with the Oakton College Educational Foundation - fueling scholarships, academic programs, and wrap-around supports which help ensure that students can begin their Oakton journey and persist to achieve their goals. The Educational Foundation partners with donors to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of students, right here in their community. Your tax-deductible donations enable us to open the door to transformational opportunities for the students who need it the most. With your support, we can ensure that Oakton College remains a critical access point for high-quality higher education for all in our district who seek it. Established in 1977, the Foundation was chartered to raise funds to enable student success through investment in student scholarships, academic programs, teaching excellence, and capital improvements that enhance the quality of education at Oakton. The Foundation provides funding and resources for Oakton that are not available through normal government and tax resources. The Foundation actively seeks contributions from a variety of sources, including individuals, corporations, and other foundations. It acts as a steward of donations to the College by assuring that all gifts are designated and spent in the manner specified by the donor.
