About Oaktree Venture Studio

Our vision is to "work with, develop, and build ventures that will create security, opportunity, and purpose for our stakeholders - employees, users, communities, nations". We believe that entrepreneurship can be a transformative force for good and we strive to build ventures that solve problems by creating real value. As a venture studio, we are fully involved in company creation from ideation to scale. We recruit local Founders-in-Residence to identify needs and validate solutions together while providing them with training and resources. By implementing venture building methodology, accessing support from in-house functional expertise, and fundraising best practices, we give founders a higher probability and magnitude of success. Our aim is to accelerate the maturity of local startup ecosystems by developing internal competencies while connecting domestic ventures with international resources. Kicking off our first studio in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, join us on our journey to build human-centered ventures that make the world a better place.
