Industrial Analysis and In-line Process Diagnostics: We service industry in the sectors of chemistry and petro-chemicals, and mining. We provide on-site analysis of processing plants, working alongside process specialists and engineers to optimize their systems. Our techniques include radioisotope tracing as an inline method for detection blockages and leaks. This method avoids costly downtime of the plant and provides real-time data of the efficiency of operations. The approach is analogous to the common nuclear medicinal techniques (radiotherapy) used to diagnose disease and cancer in patients. Student development: We endeavour to equip and build/maintain a community effective scientists who will feed industry with novel technologies that make for efficient processes and enhance outputs, and hence increase profits.
