About objects & ideas

We are an award-winning Canadian industrial design studio inspiring and collaborating with clients who are as passionate about design as we are. The studio works on a broad range of projects, from digital accessories, to mobile computing, furniture, lighting and lifestyle products. Our approach and experience support client projects from the macro to micro level, as broad as creating design language and strategy for future products, to defining the most iconic features and details that excite global consumers. Objects & Ideas was founded by Taodi, who previously worked with some of the world's most influential businesses and consultancies across Europe, Asia and North America. He has received more than 20 international design awards, including Red Dot Award - Best of Best, IDEA Silver Award, Good Design Award USA, IF Product Design Award. Some of his works have been exhibited at 100% Design in Tokyo, Milan Furniture week and form part of the permanent collection at the Red Dot museum Germany. His designs for Nokia included the world's best selling mobile phones, the Nokia 1110 and 1600, which together exceeded 380 Million units in production.
