Obscure Couture is a directional womenswear fashion label based in Glasgow, UK. Launched in October 2010, Obscure Couture take a stance against mass produced, faceless fashion; each collection is limited edition, individually numbered and made in the UK. Having produced 8 ready-to-wear and 7 couture collections, their garments have graced the pages of prestigious international publications such as Vogue UK, Vogue Paris, ASOS Magazine, Glamour, InStyle, Trendhunter, WWD, Cosmopolitan and FHM. Obscure Couture have been three times nominees for 'Young Designer of the Year' category at the Scottish Fashion Awards and winner of the 'Young Talent 2012' award from Scotland Re:Designed and a celebrity following including Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Haim, Marina and the Diamonds, Laura Whitmore, with pieces worn by Little Mix and Amelia Lily on numerous episodes of X Factor UK. They have showcased their collections during three consecutive seasons during London Fashion Week and exhibited at tradeshow 'Pure London' and have multiple international in-store and online stockists.
