Obstacle Academy is Minnesota’s premier Ninja Warrior and Obstacle Course training gym. We are a training facility dedicated to furthering youth and adult athletes’ obstacle proficiency and their obstacle race or competition performance. As one of the first dedicated obstacle training gyms, we have become an established leader in the many variations of emerging obstacle intensive sports and appeal to the most dedicated obstacle athletes: - Obstacle Academy is the only ninja warrior obstacle gym in Minnesota both owned, and managed, by accomplished American Ninja Warrior & Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) athletes; - Obstacle Academy is the only training gym in the nation to have produced athletes who’ve competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, USA Network’s Ninja vs. Ninja (formerly Team Ninja Warrior), Netflix’s Ultimate Beastmaster, and the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships. - Obstacle Academy has the highest concentration of coaches in Minnesota who have competed on American Ninja Warrior and at an elite level in OCR events. The Youth: Our youth athletes represent the future of ninja warrior and obstacle course competitions. Obstacle Academy was the first gym in the nation to introduce and organize a dedicated Youth Ninja Team program with consistent coaches, weekly practices, monthly competitions, and structured curriculum. The Adults: Obstacle Academy pioneered a unique obstacle training regime, WARCOUR. This training methodology was established by Obstacle Academy owner Sarah Schoback, and manager Hunter Guerard, as they trained for American Ninja Warrior. The WARCOUR regimen has a proven track record of building up obstacle endurance and efficiency; ultimately, improving race and competition performance.
