An wholly owned subsidiaries of NEC Corporation Japan focused on providing Enterprise Solutions as a One Stop Shop for customers in Asia Pacific region. Obtech initially started in Singapore by the late Mr Akinobu Kanasugi Former President of NEC & Founder of Obtech Pte Ltd. Started off as a joint venture between NEC and Marcam Inc and then later in 1998 became wholly owned by NEC. It started espanding it's operation to other countries from the year 2000. Today Obtech focuses on customers outside Japan servicing local customers, MNCs, Governments and Japanese Owned Companies. Today Obtech has about 250 customers in the region.
