About OCD & Anxiety Colorado
OCD & Anxiety Colorado (OAC) provides specialized, evidence-based treatment for adolescents and young adults struggling with OCD, anxiety disorders, and related mental health challenges. Based in Louisville and serving Boulder County and surrounding communities, OAC offers a compassionate, expert-led Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and outpatient services focused on empowering young people and their families. Our program uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold standard for OCD treatment—along with family therapy, SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) parent coaching, and individualized care coordination. We help clients build resilience, autonomy, and sustainable skills to manage anxiety, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. Founded by Alie Bernard Garza, LCSW, an experienced OCD and anxiety specialist, OAC is deeply committed to neurodivergent-affirming, strengths-based, and collaborative care. We work closely with families, schools, and providers to create supportive systems that last beyond treatment. We specialize in treating OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, phobias, school avoidance, perfectionism, and related conditions. Our services include IOP treatment, ERP therapy, family therapy, SPACE coaching, academic support collaboration, aftercare planning, and coordinated referrals for medication management and occupational therapy when needed. At OCD & Anxiety Colorado, we believe that real healing happens when young people feel seen, supported, and equipped with the right tools—and when families are partners every step of the way.
