About Ocean Cowboy Outfitters
Founded in 2024, Ocean Cowboy Outfitters develops high-quality durable gear for the freediving and spearfishing community. I grew up abalone diving with my family, which eventually led to me pursuing a career as a marine scientist while also remaining a lifelong freediver/spearfisher. Our goal is to create gear that allows more people to experience our aquatic habitats, harvest food for themselves, and go further than was previously possible with other gear brands. Designed with the turbulent waters and rugged coastline of the Pacific Northwest in mind, our Cabezón-1 (Cab-1) dive pack merges the waterproof and storage capacity of the best dive bags with the durability, comfort and weight distribution of hunting and backpacking bags. We don't want to lessen the challenge of getting to new dive locations, but only to make that process safer with the better gear!
