Our mission is to address the severe decline of these vital ecosystems due to climate change and human activity. We are proud to be the first Saudi startup dedicated to marine restoration, contributing to the blue economy goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision2030 and aligning with global efforts to restore 30% of degraded habitats by 2030. We offer innovative off-the-shelf coral restoration products alongside tailor-made solutions that are disrupting the traditional coral restoration processes. Our technology suite, including coral restoration tools, the use of PARTANNA’s proprietary carbon-negative concrete for artificial reef structures, and software management solutions exemplify our commitment to efficiency and sustainability. These innovations allow us to restore coral reefs at a fraction of the usual cost and time, up to 30 times cheaper and faster, addressing the financial barriers that often hinder restoration projects. Our team, led by founders Dr Rebecca Klaus and Dr Sebastian Schmidt-Roach, brings invaluable expertise to our operations. With our experience in coral ecology and marine ecology, we have pioneered coral restoration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and spearheaded the conceptualization of significant projects like the Shushah coral garden project (now KAUST KCRI) in NEOM, solidifying our position as visionaries in the field.
