About Ocean Surgery Center, Los Angeles
Ocean Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art surgical facility located in southern California. We received our credentialing from the American AAAASF in 2006. In 2014, the Ocean team opted to publish the prices for surgical procedures performed at our facility.We did so because we believe that this will help align healthcare prices with the actual cost of providing care. We were also confident that this will reduce healthcare spending for patients—particularly self-insured employers—allowing payers to know the cost of a surgical procedure beforehand. We are certain that this model will be the cornerstone of tangible healthcare reform and the future healthcare delivery in America. It certainly is a commonsense alternative to the prevailing pattern of unpredictable medical billing and high costs.
