About Ochre Social Performance

A majority Indigenous owned and led business, established to improve social performance outcomes for Australian Traditional Owners and local communities to empower them to proactively manage environmental and social impacts and achieve their aspirations. OSP is led by Kerrod Toby (Gangulu/ Iman Wardingarri) and Katrina Grange who have decades experience working in the resource, energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors and joined forces to create better outcomes for Traditional Owners and First Nations Peoples and support industry and all levels of Government to do this. We do this through our custom collaborative engagement and social performance management framework which is co-designed and endorsed by Traditional Owners and implemented in partnership with all levels of community, industry, and Government. OSP aims to work alongside proponents to support communities through the post-carbon transition to ensure their intrinsic values are protected, negative impacts are proactively managed, and long-term community benefit and genuine shared value is achieved. Our frameworks and operational models are informed by global best practice Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) and sustainability standards but tailored to the individual context of Australian communities and project/ operations. We specialise in ensuring Traditional Owners’ local cultural protocol and lore are respected and adhered to; that they are armed with knowledge and expert support to be able to make informed and empowered decisions; and provided the resources, tools, and capacity development to protect cultural heritage, Care for Country, achieve their aspirations and support self-determination.
