ODESSA TEXAS CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU MISSION STATEMENT The primary objective of the Odessa Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCVB) is to create maximum hotel occupancy within the city through a marketing program aimed at attracting and securing overnight visitors who will spend money in the Odessa area. We assist these visitors in having a successful and enjoyable stay and encourage their return. Our marketing programs include, but are not limited to conventions, sports, and tourism sales, convention servicing, visitor services, advertising, public relations, publicity, and distribution of information. We encourage everyone in the Odessa area to welcome and accommodate our visitors. Through our visitor industry, we can build the image of Odessa as an excellent place to visit. Visitors stimulate trade in the Odessa area and diversify the economy. This sustains jobs and improves the quality of life for our citizens.
