Odin Investments is an extension to the long persisting company in the Egyptian Capital market “Egyptians Abroad for Investment & Development, a company that has demonstrated its continuous urge for development & improvement over the years. The idea behind establishing Egyptians Abroad for Investment and Development Company emerged during the first Egyptians Abroad Conference in 1981 held under the auspices of the President Mohamed Anwar El Sadat. It was further emphasized given the recommendations of the second conference in 1983, to find an effective mechanism to attract Egyptian Expats abroad to invest in projects that help prospering their homeland. The company was established in 1984 and has contributed over the past 35 years to the establishment of several companies operating in various sectors (Industrial, Services, Real estate and Financial Sectors) and aided in the continuous development of the Egyptian Economy. Over the years, the company developed the relevant and necessary know-how in the financial services and investment sectors through M&A transactions, company establishment, real estate investments as well as financial securities and related activity The company was granted the licenses to operate in all investment banking related activities & non-banking financial services from the Capital Market Authority back in 1997, but the decision to utilize them appropriately came earlier this year on the back of improved market conditions & board’s future plans. The company has decided to activate the following departments starting September 2019: Assets Management Private Equity Investment Banking
