Odyssey Ventures (“Odyssey”) is a search fund focused on acquiring, operating, and growing one privately held SME at a time. Odyssey provides a seasoned team of institutionalized investors, accomplished entrepreneurs and vetted operators focusing on long term value creation. Who We Are Odyssey was founded by Mo Bississo and a diverse group of 11 successful entrepreneurs, operating executives, and savvy investors who bring decades of experience to the firm. This group skillfully acquired and operated leading companies in a variety of industries and geographies, and will serve as advisory board members and directors to Odyssey acquisitions. Those individuals’ experiences range from establishing and growing what are now successful billion dollar publicly listed entities spanning a number of industries to sophisticated regional private equity funds, global venture capital funds, law firms, and investment banks. What Makes Us Different Odyssey focuses on one acquisition at a time, having the entire team focus on the target acquisition, as opposed to building a diversified portfolio, which tends to divert the attention from one company. Odyssey gives owners the option to reap the benefits of a partial liquidity event while Odyssey’s founder takes a full-time senior management role in the acquired business and with the additional ammunition of a seasoned investor base and advisory board that sits on the target’s board. Together, the team positions the business for long-term success, ensuring continuity to customers, employees and the community. What We Look For Odyssey seeks to purchase a majority stake in a growing company. Companies we seek will have the following characteristics: 1. Up to AED 45 Million in annual revenues 2. A recurring revenue model 3. A strong middle management team 4. A company based in or looking to grow in to the United Arab Emirates
