About Offshore Weather Services
Offshore Weather Services (OWS) provides accurate and timely weather forecasts with 24 hour, year round access to highly experienced meteorologists who fully understand the offshore industry and weather related issues. OWS senior meteorologists are experienced in the establishment of evacuation procedures associated with tropical cyclones and other extreme weather events. Along with our climatological and oceanographic studies division in Singapore, OWS provides briefings and downtime analysis for the planning stages of offshore exploration and operations, offshore infrastructure development or any project taking place on the high seas or near the coast. Using sophisticated new technologies such as multi and single model ensemble forecasting, in-house high resolution mesoscale atmospheric modelling and wave modelling, OWS endeavours to minimise risk and downtime for any project.
