About 'Ohana Organics

Celebrating our 25th year, Ohana Organics® is a woman owned, family organic skincare company founded by Tara Cooper. Since 2000, we have grown all our own certified organic herbs and hand crafted, botanically infused skin care made with Aloha in Northern California Since 2000. All of our products are over 90 percent organic, sustainably sourced and never tested on animals. Tara’s philosophy is real ingredients for real people. Living Aloha (meaning gratitude and love for life) is intrinsic to ‘Ohana Organics and deep-rooted in all our business practices. 'Ohana Organics was created out of Tara's love for the Hawaiian Islands. After moving to California from Hawaii for college, she realized she wanted to stay home and raise her children. Missing the scents and beauty of the Islands and unable to find quality products for her 'Ohana (family) came an idea, to make her own. With love, passion and a science background Tara started 'Ohana Organics. For 25 years 'Ohana has grown all their our own organic herbs and hand made all their products. Now that Tara's daughters are all grown up, she is looking forward to growing the company and spreading the Aloha for all to enjoy. All of our products are handmade in small batches using only the purest ingredients. Besides growing all our own organic herbs, our small team does everything from manufacturing, labeling, shipping, administration, and social media in our facility in Humboldt County, CA. Our products are loved not only locally, but globally. We are known for our exquisite NEW Kava Butter, organic Shea Butter Creams and as the 2014 NEXTY winner for our vegan, organic Tattoo Butter® aftercare.
