About Olala Internationales Straßentheater & Zirkusfestival Lienz

Since its beginning in 1992, the festival’s aim has been to bring an internationally well-recognized variety of circus performers, musicians, comedians, stilt walkers, installations and magicians, to East Tyrol. Today, the Olala has an international reputation counting to one of the most popular events of its kind in central Europe. Annually held in the last week of July, around 40 companies from all around the world comprising a programme of over 160 shows performed in various venues across the town, attract over 40.000 visitors to the area.
