Incorporated in 1973 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, Old Harbor Native Corporation (OHNC) began with 329 shareholders and today represents approximately 550. Shareholders primarily reside in Anchorage, Kodiak, and Old Harbor, with others living as far away as Iceland and Switzerland. OHNC’s mission is to grow and manage the Corporation’s assets for the benefit of shareholders while preserving and protecting the Alutiiq culture, traditions, and values of this 7,500-year-old community. The Corporation maintains a diverse investment portfolio that includes commercial real estate holdings in Anchorage and Kodiak, market securities, and ownership in several successful subsidiaries. In 2002, OHNC formed Three Saints Bay, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary focused on federal government contracting. Through its family of companies, including Amee Bay, Barling Bay, Rolling Bay, Shearwater Systems, Ocean Bay, and Kiliuda Consulting, Three Saints Bay continues to grow and expand in both national and international markets. Beyond government contracting, OHNC invests in industries that strengthen Alaska’s infrastructure and support sustainable growth. Kodiak Microwave Systems provides rural broadband and communication services across Kodiak Island and the Kenai Peninsula. Delta Leasing delivers high-quality equipment leasing and rental services throughout Alaska’s oil, gas, and construction sectors. Geofortis produces natural pozzolan products that offer a sustainable alternative to traditional cement, reducing the environmental impact of concrete manufacturing.
