About Old News Vintage

Old News Vintage is a vintage and secondhand clothing store by the book. However, I like to see it more as a halfway home for bygone gems. I spend hours sourcing good quality clothing which are then carefully clean, measured, and (when necessary) mended. I then use a tripod to shoot each piece on the body making sure to capture its quality and details and showing how one could style it. I use a lot of humour in my descriptions which, though the clothes are the main drawcard, has largely contributed to my 16k following (small flex but let me have this one). Once an item has sold, it’s sent off in a lino-printed bag, happily evading a landfill and ready to add a new person/chapter to its lifespan. This store is my first solo business venture and has seen me level up through blood, sweat, and what can only be described as a violent caffeine addiction. Old News is the umbrella under which my writing, styling, and -thanks to manual labour elements- heavy lifting game has soared. Even if I come to achieve my wildest dreams, I will have it in writing that my tombstone reads: Mother of mothballs.
