About Old Songs
Old Songs, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation for, and participation in, traditional music and dance. A renovated historic church in Voorheesville, NY houses the Old Songs offices and our 100-seat performance hall. Since 1977 Old Songs has presented CONCERTS, DANCES, INSTRUMENT CLASSES and the annual OLD SONGS FESTIVAL, and has recently added a summer MUSIC CAMP series. A working board of directors and volunteer and business support underpin the effort. Our programs reach more than 12,000 people each year, inspiring them, it is hoped, to incorporate music or dance or storytelling into their lives.
