Oldershaw was created in Hawke’s Bay in 1956 by Ash Oldershaw (“Mr O”) and David Sutherland, who in their 20’s broke away from traditional accounting and tax offerings to provide a localised and independent service. Jumping on their bikes, Oldershaw staff would visit businesses, learn how they operate and customise the accounting and tax service to suit. Being the first to adopt the most up-to-date online accounting systems at the time. Oldershaw quickly became the backbone for growing business in the Bay and expanded its services to include Audit and Financial Advisory. Today Oldershaw is a paperless practice that attracts staff from around the world to service clients who operate locally and globally.
