Olio Dante S.p.A. is one of the leading olive oil producers in the international landscape thanks to its consolidated presence in multiple countries and over 150 years of experience. We trace our origins back to 1849, when Andrea – founder of the Costa family – started marketing olive oil from Sardinia to Liguria. However, Andrea had an ambitious vision to bring a piece of Italy to the tables of customers from all over the world. With this goal in mind, in 1898 the first bottles were shipped to North America, Argentina and even Australia. To support his global expansion, Andrea developed a new olive oil, Dante, combining the finest Italian ingredients with the most innovative techniques. Our company is based in Montesarchio (province of Benevento) in Southern Italy, where we can rely on a modern 50.000 m2 industrial complex including an oil mill (250.000 kg olives/day), 2 refineries (mainly for seed oil, 220.000 kg/day), 20 bottling lines (up to 800.000 Lt/day) and high standard Quality Control Laboratory. However, despite the bigger size, we still follow our traditional approach, combining the craftmanship at the base of Italian excellence with a constant search of innovation. We are indeed dedicated to serve our consumers with passion, helping them turn every meal into a unique experience, through our historical Italian brands Dante for olive oil and Olita, Topazio and OiO for seed oil.
