Olive Twist Estate is an Australian, award-winning Olive Grove located in the heart of South Gippsland, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, nearby unspoiled beaches, pristine rainforest, local wineries and food producers, plus year-round festivals. Olive Twist brings a truly new and unique experience to the Gippsland area by building these magnificent Yurts. Being lovers of the outdoors, we built a variety of rustic yurts to strengthen the connection between people and the outdoors while keeping a luxurious placemaking in nature. The Yurts originate from Denver Colorado and have the ingenuity of ancient structural design with added engineered strength, and durable outdoor fabrics. Each Yurt is carefully designed with its own individual personality and named after different types of olives. The Leccino Yurt features a wall-to-wall spectacular hand painted black cockatiel mural, and the Frantoio Yurt all ability Yurt, features a wall-to-wall beautifully hand painted Kookaburra mural both by local artist Adam William Cochrane. All Yurts are self-contained with a full bathroom, a kitchenette, indoor wood fireplace, and a private deck and BBQ. Perfect for a weekend escape or extended getaway, the Yurts provide a luxurious and unique stay while experiencing the great outdoors and staying close to the Gippsland attractions. The yurt looks over green pastures, showcasing local farming life. You can sleep and look up at the stars through the dome skylight. Whether you are sitting inside or on your private deck you can experience spectacular views of the Strzelecki Ranges. Enjoy a relaxing drink while watching the sunset or gaze up at the stars from your dome skylight.
