About Olivia's Cuisine
Meet Olivia! I'm the creative founder, photographer and “chef” of Olivia’s Cuisine. I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and I currently live in New York. I am recently married, living the newly wed bliss (most of the time!) with my husband, Tim. He’s the one having to try and judge every single thing I make in the kitchen, helping me choose photos, reviewing my posts (I’m a foreigner after all, so I do make lots of mistakes!), washing the dishes and running to the grocery store when I realize I don’t have something I need. He’s the one tells me everything will be ok, makes me laugh and helps me be a better person everyday. Olivia's Cuisine is a place where I express my adventures in the kitchen, a friendly place where readers can browse through my experiences and find /nurture their passion for cooking. I learned how to cook with my grandmother and with my mother. I crashed and burned a lot, as I’m sure many of you also did. I had times when I thought I would never be able to make something, as it always turned out bad… My husband is the one who usually pushes me forward saying I will eventually master it, and guess what? He’s usually right! Everyone can cook if they do it with love. I want you, my readers, to know that I have lots of love for this work I’m doing.
