Back then, Olle was already drawing comics. Together with a friend, he started the culture and comix magazine GALAGO. In the early 80s he worked as an illustrator at the Stockholm newspaper SVENSKA DAGBLADET, and as an art teacher at school. In 1986, he started producing comic strips for magazines such as GAUDEMAUS, NÖJESGUIDEN and LARSON, and later for Swedenʼs largest daily, DAGENS NYHETER. Olle Berg has published two comic albums of his own, ZEN in 1989 and BONK in 1997. Besides producing comix, he still works as an illustrator for different companies, newspapers and advertising agencies. Lately, he has started working with animated material, some of which can be seen at his website: www.olle-berg.com Newspapers and magazines in 12 countries have published material by Olle Berg, including the German weekly magazine DIE ZEIT and the US magazine HEAVY METAL. Albums with his comics have been published in Holland and Germany. Besides being a cartoonist he works as an illustrator for magazines and advertising agencies.
