Our goal is to assist architects, clients, and developers in understanding the building code, solving complex problems, and achieving efficient and compliant designs. Mark is a professional engineer and certified professional with 8 years of experience developing alternative solutions and consulting on the building code. Mark received his Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering degree in Europe before working in Australia and New Zealand as a fire safety engineer. After five years living abroad, Mark returned to Canada. He settled in Vancouver and worked for LMDG Building Code Consultants Ltd. for over five years, developing a deep understanding of the local building codes and methods. Having studied fire safety engineering in Europe and worked in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, Mark has an open mind as to how the fire safety objectives of the building code can be met.
