After over two decades of working for some of the most respected general contractors in Southern California, coupled with knowledge and relationships passed down from generations of Southern California builders, Omar Mata formed OM Construction in 2017. Known in the industry as OMC, the companies roots are based in commercial construction and real estate. Omar's experience started in the field, then gradually moving up through various executive positions that prepared him to be the company president and industry leader he is today. Omar's unique construction experience in Southern California includes such areas as laboratory research facilities, television studios, soundstages, theaters, surgical centers, high end tenant Improvements, restaurants, seismic upgrades, core shell work & adaptive reuse projects. This experience along with the experience of other members of his team makes hiring OMC a huge asset to any project. Over the years, Omar has built solid relationships with the most experienced union and non union subcontractors in Southern California, allowing OMC to maintain the manpower required for all schedule commitments, despite how busy the industry may be. This diverse subcontractor roster gives OMC a competitive edge in the market.
