About OMC2 Diesel

OMC2 are manufacturers of spare parts suitable for the injection diesel systems of the major engine makers’ brands. MAN/B&W, Caterpillar MAK, Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, KHD, MWM, HIMSEN, SWD, SKL, Semt-Pielstick, Sulzer, Wartsila, Yanmar and any others. Our story starts as far back as 1962 where, thanks to their good experience in the construction of test benches for nozzles, a group of young men used their initiative to launch their own firm, producing nozzles, elements and delivery valves for the automotive and the agricultural diesel engine markets. Italy was in a boom period and very quickly OMC2 became a well-known factory both in Italy and abroad, almost from the beginning commencing co-operation with the most important European original equipment manufacturing firms. The range of production remained focused on these three components but the application range continuously expanded and with gradual increments to larger engine sizes, suitable to locomotive, marine, and power markets. Constant expansion of our facilities, allowing greater production capacity, together with regular investment in new technology, enabled OMC2 to operate the best strategic choices in the critical moments, such as in 1998, when a major reassessment was made, the company discontinuing its production of automotive fuel equipment. By doing this, we were able to dramatically increase the production of nozzles, elements and delivery valves for diesel engines used in the marine, stationary, and locomotive sectors.
