OMPECO is an Italian company, dealing with waste treatment.Ompeco started its activity 45 years ago in the green sector.In 2001, the company was patented around the world to manufacture the waste treatment equipment called Converter which can treated all kind of waste (organic, municipal, infected, solid, etc). This technology is based on the transformation of mechanical energy into thermal energy, easily reaching the temperature of 151 degrees Celsius, when sterilization takes place without the use of any pressure. Converter technology treats waste in a single process (chopping, drying and sterilizing it in just one cycle), directly in the place where it is produced (infectious waste inside hospitals, clinics or laboratories, solid urban waste and organic waste - inside the cities, farms, hotels, airports, shopping centers, restaurants, etc.) without making any noise, without releasing any odor or nuisance to the environment, being compatible with the plans that are approved to be installed inside the cities, which can greatly reduce the cost of transporting waste as well as the fees paid for its storage, treatment or burning. Thus, Converter does not generate any pollution, odor, nuisance, emissions into air, does not work under pressure (the entire waste treatment cycle, the Converter works under negative pressure), does not make noise, including the water that comes out of the waste treatment can be reused in another treatment cycle, thus ensuring a clean and safe working environment, and of course, it is easy to use exactly where the waste is produced.
