With a young staff that consists of college students and recently graduated professionals, On Point Tutoring offers a unique perspective that is hard to find elsewhere. Programs are focused not only on teaching the material, but being able to establish a connection with each individual student and cater to their needs accordingly. With this in mind, OPT has had the ability to assist over two hundred students achieve the grades and scores that led to them to the colleges of their choice. Primary Education: All elementary and middle school classes Secondary Education/College subjects tutored include: Pre-Algebra Algebra I & II Geometry Pre-Calculus Trigonometry Calculus I, II, & III Biology Chemistry Physics English Spanish AP Physics B & C AP Biology AP Chemistry AP Calculus AB & BC Test-Prep: At OPT, we base our test-prep philosophy on three simple components: 1. Individually structured programs 2. Practice with current material. 3. Consistent student involvement Our programs are all catered to each students specific set of strengths and weaknesses. Sessions are designed to specifically address a student’s weakness and reinforce their strengths. This is done through practice with real past SAT exams. This is due to the fact that the difficulty with the SAT and ACT arises not from the material itself, but rather the way it is presented. The more a student sees the exam, the more they understand what is being asked of them. Lastly, our program focuses on encouraging students to participate and become actively engaged in their own success. Our young staff prides themselves on their ability to involve and excite students about their own success.
