About OnconiX

OnconiX AG is a personalized oncology company dedicated to transforming cancer care by helping identify the most effective therapy for each patient. Today, cancer treatment too often relies on trial-and-error, leading to ineffective therapies, unnecessary side effects, rising costs, and reduced quality of life. We address this challenge with patient-derived organoid (PDO) analysis, which shows how an individual’s tumor responds to therapies, delivering functional and reliable insights quickly and precisely. Founded by members of the University of Bern, OnconiX builds on more than a decade of research in functional precision oncology and close collaboration with clinicians. Our vision is to make truly personal treatment options broadly accessible by generating robust, patient-specific data that replaces guesswork with evidence. Guided by the values of patient empowerment and equality, scientific excellence, ethical transparency, socio-economic value creation and collaborative innovation. We strive to ensure that our analyses are accurate, reproducible, and practical in everyday oncology- so patients spend less time on ineffective treatments and more time living their lives.
