One Element is the Outdoor Fitness Company with a mission to build fitness and social hubs in local communities. Sports and fitness entrepreneur Tom Marien established One Element in 2007 after he identified a clear mismatch between the “silent gym” and the social sports club. Drawing on his experience as a personal trainer and gym manager, Tom has worked with top level coaches and athletes to design the One Element training programmes which work through the different energy systems to deliver training in the style of pre-season sports fitness to ensure members do not plateau. There are five main areas we focus on in our training programmes: • Speed and power • Agility and balance • Lactic endurance • Cardio • Weights Our trainers are of the highest standard, including ex-professional sportsmen, who are all trained to encourage and support our members reach their fitness goals in a friendly and team-orientated environment. In addition to the fitness training, we organise a variety of social events from drinks, picnics, paddle boarding and touch rugby competitions to ski trips, Halloween parties, treks and surfing trips. In addition to the events we organise, our members become great friends and regularly organise their own socials and holidays. There is now an increased focus on franchising nationwide, with franchises already set up in Tooting, Richmond, Belfast, London Docklands and Clapham. We deliver over 150 fitness sessions a month with approximately 500 members, ranging from 16 to 75, attending thirteen park locations across the UK.
