About One Grand Books

One Grand is a curated bookstore in which celebrated thinkers, writers, artists, and other creative minds share the ten books they would take to their metaphorical desert island, providing the audience a window into the minds of some of the world’s most engaging people. We also publish Grand, the biannual literary journal of One Grand Books. In fall 2020, One Grand launched Grand Journal—a brand new literary journal featuring original fiction, poetry, memoir, essays, and conversations from a diverse and exciting array of writers, young and old, up-and-coming and established. Every year, Grand also hosts the Deep Water Literary Festival in Narrowsburg, NY with marathon readings by celebrities and authors, immersive events including dance and dinner parties, and a myriad of creative opportunities for readers and writers to celebrate the joy and wonder of the written word.
