About One to One Children's Fund
One to One Children's Fund is a charity which spearheads groundbreaking projects which aim to relieve the suffering of children in areas of the world dominated by poverty, hardship, conflict and discrimination We remedy and prevent the adverse impact of HIV/AIDS and trauma on children, working hand in hand with communities to develop and implement projects which can be scaled and replicated. By delivering sustainable projects and empowering local people, One to One Children’s Fund succeeds in rebuilding lives. Our current projects in Africa focus on tackling HIV/AIDS in children. One of our projects is the Paediatric AIDS Treatment for Africa (PATA). It is a network of clinics across Africa which has improved the care for 75,000 children who receive ARV’s (anti retroviral drugs). PATA’s ripple effect continues to gain momentum and save even more lives. Play Football for Life is a remarkable programme which One to One Children’s Fund is supporting through our partner Africaid- Whizzkids United. Through the language of football the children involved are educated on both the dangers of HIV/AIDS as well as life skills in general in an attempt to bring about positive behavioural changes.
