One Vision is a nonprofit charitable organization founded in 1966, with a mission to stand with and support people with disabilities to pursue their best life. We proudly serve individuals across Iowa through a variety of person-centered programs and services designed to promote independence, inclusion, and opportunity: 🔹Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) | Supportive services that empower individuals to live, learn, and work in their own homes and communities — on their own terms. 🔹Smart Living | Smart Living integrates enabling technology and remote support into our community-based services. This approach enhances independence and community inclusion by prioritizing personalized tech solutions as the first line of support. 🔹Community Employment Services | We help people with disabilities find meaningful employment that reflects their interests and abilities. Our individualized approach ensures each person has a voice in choosing a career path where they can succeed and thrive. Several One Vision branches help fund and expand our impact by creating inclusive opportunities and promoting positive environmental outcomes. 🔹Thrift Stores | Located in Clear Lake, Fort Dodge, and Waterloo, our thrift stores offer quality goods while supporting vital disability services. 🔹Thrift Solutions | Our textile recycling branch partners with over 70 thrift locations, keeping more than 2 million pounds of materials out of landfills annually — supporting sustainability and our mission. 🔹Glen Oaks Community | A 55+ active living community offering rental homes at TimberCrest Apartments or ownership at Terraces Townhomes, providing vibrant, independent living for older adults. 🔹Boyer Pool & Wellness Center | An inclusive wellness space featuring an indoor heated pool, hot tub, gymnasium, walking track, fitness classes, and more — open to the public.
