About One Woman's Treasure Bakery
During the 2020 lockdown, I became interested in making sourdough bread but found it intimidating and postponed it until Fall 2023. After moving to Brookfield, CT, and frequently buying sourdough at farmer's markets, I decided to try making my own when the markets closed for winter. I successfully created and maintained my own sourdough starter and discovered a passion for baking. After quitting my 9-5 job, I pursued this passion, obtaining a Cottage Food Operating license, which was a lengthy but rewarding process. Now, I run a sourdough business, sharing my bread with the community 😇
