About OneHealthPartners

One Health Partners is a federally incorporated not for profit organization based at the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto, Canada. We are a new species of organization dedicated to reimagining healthcare at the human-animal-environmental interface. OHP operates at the intersection of animal welfare, human healthcare, education and social services. It has a service division, that includes a therapy dog program and a range of human-animal support services, an innovation lab for research and developing pilot projects and an education division. The different facets of OHP are integrated by three basic missions: 1)our first mission is to promote understanding of the human-animal bond and to leverage that understanding in the service of social good. 2)our second mission to develop and disseminate One Health as an idea, as a framework of inter-professional integrated care and as a social movement 3)our third mission is to build bridges between the humanities and the social sciences on the one hand and the biomedical and life sciences on the other hand and within the biomedical and life-sciences better link the human healthcare and animal healthcare professional and scientific research communities.
