Onion Research & Advisory is a boutique market research and corporate advisory company with 30 years experience across diverse domestic and international markets, such as: US, Canada, Europe, India, Asia, Sth Africa and South America. Onion was founded in July 2009 by Managing Director Carrie Watt. With almost 30 years’ experience in USA, Sth America and Australia, Carrie has held senior market research positions in General Motors USA and Holden Australia. Carrie’s difference is her client service and her objectivity in designing, analysing and reporting on research/survey projects. Carrie’s objectivity and detailed analysis ensures her advice is accurate and relevant to the business. Our market research services include primary qualitative and quantitative market research, focus group moderation, survey design, and market segment analysis In 2015, Carrie’s partner Darren joined the business to provide corporate advisory services focused on helping leaders, leadership teams and organisations improve performance through bringing their organisational strategy to life through its people. Darren has almost 30 years of experience across many sectors including oil & gas, mining, infrastructure and professional services and has been recognised twice as one of the Top 100 engineers in Australia. Darren has over 15 years’ experience leading HR/People functions overseeing diverse teams and workforces of up to 9000 people. Darren has also been the CEO of one of the largest engineering consultancies in Australia with annual revenues more than $200M per year and he was part of the global executive team for one of the world’s largest environmental consultancies with annual revenues more than $1.5B for over 7 years. Our corporate advisory services include Executive Coaching, Strategic Planning, Organisational Development, Change Leadership, Safety Leadership, Employee Engagement and Balanced Scorecard.
