About OnPoint Family Outreach

Let's face it, we have lost the "War on Drugs" in this country. Our teens are dying from drug overdoses everyday. Drugs are getting more potent and more accessible and parents are uninformed and ill equipped to deal with this deadly problem. Research shows that parents tend to underestimate adolescent substance use which often leads to a delay in reacting to it. OnPoint Family Outreach is a nonprofit agency designed to bring education and intervention techniques directly to the parents of teens who are using drugs and alcohol. We are also dedicated to teaching prevention strategies to parents of younger children. Our parental program, ASAP (Adolescent Substance Abuse Program), is offered to our schools to help empower parents with the tools needed to navigate this difficult issue. But we need resources to roll this program out to the nation. If you, or anyone close to you, have lost a child to substance abuse, we know how devastating this has been for you.
