Ontario Construction User Council (OCUC) is a unique non-profit organization originally founded over 50 years ago by major corporations to represent their construction buying interests to the Province of Ontario. Its members were originally drawn from all sectors of industry including oil and gas, chemicals, mining, automotive, glass, electric power, and transportation. Today, OCUC members include major Users of construction services (Owners) and Construction related service providers across a number of business sectors. Our Council Mission: To improve the health & safety, quality, and cost effectiveness of Construction and Construction Maintenance Services thereby enhancing the competitive position of industry in Ontario and attract business investment to the Province. Our Council Goal:To provide a networking forum for the exchange of safety and health information, construction practices and promotion of ideas to improve customer services. The information is disseminated at regularly scheduled General Council meetings where the members get information, focus on important current issues and solutions that are freely discussed with input from subject matter experts.
