About Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health
WORKING TO SUPPORT A LEADER IN MENTAL HEALTH Founded in 2009, Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health was created to raise funds, and support for Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores). Our goal is to also help bring awareness to, and reduce the stigma, surrounding mental illness. Throughout the years, our team, events, and fundraising programs have grown and evolved substantially. Together, we work with the numerous departments at Ontario Shores to lead change so that individuals with mental illness have access to the care they need, and the opportunity to fully participate in an inclusive and stigma-free society. Creating a sense of hope is one of the greatest gifts we can give to those living with complex mental health challenges. Our mission at Ontario Shores Foundation is to help create that hope through the combined efforts of our team, and the generous support of our donors and community. Together we are helping our patients to recover, and giving them that feeling of hope for a brighter tomorrow. Join us on this journey as we create discovery, recovery and hope for all those in our communities who are living with the devastating impact of mental illness.
