About Onward and Upward, Inc

A private and nonprofit Community Online Work Center (COWC) that has taken the lead in providing instruction and facilitation for people who are experiencing homelessness and joblessness in our community and are finding it extremely difficult to get hired to work for an online employer. The main objective is to help homeless and jobless citizens to get hired to work for an online employer and work their online job at one of our work stations for up to 8 hours per day inside the Onward and Upward Inc. Community Online Work Center. After earning a steady income needed to obtain and sustain stable housing, they can take their computer that we have provided to their home and continue working for their online employer from the comfort of their home. Our efforts to provide employment and facilitation to people who wish to recover and rebuild their lives, especially our homeless and jobless Veterans is accomplished by teaching, facilitating, and mentoring our program participants, including military veterans (high priority) and non-military individuals; males and females who are 18 and above; high school and college graduates or drop outs. The military veterans and their families are our top priority because of their sacrifices and services to our country. They are finding it difficult to transition out of military life into a civilian work force.
