Having completed 31 years in main contractor estimating, an opportunity has arisen from which I can now offer my experience and services to a wider client base through Onyx Cost Consulting Limited. During my main contracting career I have been fortunate to gain exposure to a number of project scopes including; - New builds in the residential, industrial, commercial, health, educational, government, hospitality and military markets - Refurbishment, alteration and structural strengthening works for local authorities, retailers and developers - The deconstruction/ demolition of earthquake damaged buildings Submission values range from as low as a few thousand NZ dollars (Very minor alteration works) through to and including projects in the hundreds of millions of NZ dollars (Christchurch anchor projects). I am fully appreciative that the vast majority of projects are bespoke, but with a 31 year career experience in a myriad of sectors and value ranges behind me, it may be that I have been involved with a ‘similar’ project and can draw upon my knowledge to assist you with your needs.
