About Oowee Vegan
Established in 2018 by Charlie Watson and Verity Foss, Oowee Vegan is an independent, 100% vegan restaurant hailing from Bristol, one of the UK’s most vegan-friendly cities. We specialise in mouth-watering “deliciously dirty” food - from housemade chick’n burgers, to loaded fries, thick vegan shakes and more. In 2020 we opened three more branches, and our food can now be found in Bristol, Brighton, Dalston and Brixton (London). We are extremely customer-focussed because of the level of support we’ve received since we opened, and like to think of Oowee Vegan as a culture more than a restaurant. We’re friends with our customers, talk to them regularly and love their feedback and opinions. Our goals are to continue to invent and create food that is mouth-watering, delicious and is something all people can enjoy - from meat-eaters to vegans. We focus on creating and developing new products that are for everyone, without hanging on to cliches of what vegan food used to or ‘should’ be. Our mission is to bring people together with our culture and our food, and we can’t wait to spread this to the rest of the UK - and one day, the world!
