The Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) is a non-profit organization 501(c)(6) that advances the cause of professional astrology by helping students and practicing astrologers get the information, insights, and experiences they need to foster their understanding of astrology, and launch and enhance their astrology practices. It assists astrologers to improve both personally and professionally and defines and maintains professional standards for the responsible use of astrology. OPA is dedicated to establishing astrology as an eminent spiritual, psychological and holistic tool of understanding. OPA is a place where astrology enthusiasts meet to exchange information, compare skills of the craft, and explore the new frontiers of the field. We help each other grow as students, develop our practice, and improve conditions for professional astrologers. OPA supports astrology in its different streams, and advocates tolerance, ethical practice, high standards, and continual growth of the profession.
