OpalShop has been operating as a online store since 1999. We supply only Australian Opal. It is said to be the best in the world. We have access to mines in many of the renowned fields. These include Lightning Ridge ( the home of Black Opal ) Coober Pedy Home of White Opal. And last but not least the various mines in outback Queensland. Having direct access we get material at the right price. OpalShop uses our online store as our business model. Most of our stock is usually updated to our site with in a few days of it coming out of the ground. Prices vary from beginners grade through to gem grade. We sell a lot of rough materialand is vary popular . A lot of the material lasts less than a day or so. Australian opal is sold in parcels from a few pieces up to kilos +. We may get another deal but there is NO Buying a kilo and the same tomorrow and the same next week. The deal is what is on offer here and now.
