About Open Call Art

Hello, I'm Shane Smith, founder and CEO of Open Call Art, a nonprofit creative space dedicated to supporting artists at all levels. We offer instruction, help with artist submissions, and, once we secure a location, plan to host exhibitions and free workshops for underserved communities, including recovery centers, facilities for individuals with disabilities, and senior care centers. Our goal is to create a welcoming space for everyone to explore their creativity. With my background in the arts and education, I aim to guide and instruct any artists, whether they’re creating for home, exhibitions, or even music projects. Accessibility is key to us. We want to make art available to everyone, showcasing diverse artists through regular exhibitions and providing a platform for underrepresented voices. Thank you for your support.
