Open New York is a pro-housing, grassroots advocacy organization working to fix New York’s housing crisis. New York’s restrictive zoning laws have fueled record-high rents and the displacement of long-standing communities. For too long, wealthy neighborhoods have used these laws to block new housing, pushing growth into less-resourced areas.
